  1. How do I purchase tickets?

    You can purchase tickets 3 ways. On line, over the telephone or upon boarding. Buying tickets in advance online or reserving over the telephone with a credit card is the only way to reserve seating.  On line tickets and telephone reservations are taken until 2hrs before departure.

  2. What is the cancellation policy?

    Please call LaZOOM 24 hrs in advance at 828-225-6932. Leave your name, number of tickets to be canceled, date of trip and a day time phone number.

  3. What if I book my ticket as a local and cannot furnish proof of residency at boarding?

    Pay full price and know that you have just subjected yourself to ridicule through out the tour.

  4. Is the bus wheel chair accessible?

    Unfortunately not. The doors are not wide enough on this bus to accommodate a wheelchair. However we will do our best to accomodate disabled passengers and can store wheelchairs if necessary.

  5. Do I need a car seat for my infant?

    Children under 5 will be asked to share a seat with 2 other passengers. There are no seat belts.

  6. Can I get on and off of the bus throughout the tour?
    All tours stop for a 20 minute break in the middle. Tours departing at 10:30a.m. will break at the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville. Tours departing at 6:00p.m. break at Firestorm Cafe, also in downtown Asheville.
  7. Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the bus?
    Yes! Passengers are allowed to bring beer and wine on the bus. Passengers will be asked to provide ID proving that they are 21 years of age. Alcoholic beverages other than beer and wine are not permitted.  You can purchase these items, among others at our departing location, the French Broad Food Coop.
  8. Is it appropriate to give a gratuity?

    Yes, gratuities are greatly appreciated.

  9. How is seating arranged?

    First come, first served. Every seat has a nice view.

  10. Where do we park?
    There is a pay lot across the street on Biltmore Avenue next to the Double Decker Bus Coffee Shop. Street meter parking is free after 6p.m. in all of downtown.
  11. How should I dress?

    Dress for success with the weather, LaZOOM is an open air bus.  Some have enjoyed dressing in their funnest frocks and feathers to be seen parading through Asheville on the lovely purple bus!  Dress in whatever manner you wish!   12. Is the tour appropriate for all ages?
    We strive to make each tour appropriate and enjoyable for all ages.
  13. What else is there to do in town?
    Nothing could possibly be more fun than a LaZoom Tour, but if you have extra time you might also visit some of our friends.
